About the instructor
Dr. Richard Miron is currently lead educator and researcher at Advanced PRF Education and an Adjunct Visiting Faculty in the department of Periodontology in Bern, Switzerland where he completed his PhD studies since 2009. He has currently published over 400 peer-reviewed articles and is currently the most cited dental researcher in private practice in the United States with over 4000 citations yearly to his work. For the past 10 years, Dr. Miron has also been recognized by Dentistry Today as being one of the top 100 CE educators in the country and the youngest to ever make the list. He is the #1 ranked researcher on Platelet-Rich Fibrin therapy as per Expertscape independent review and developed many novel technologies and protocols including the injectable liquid-PRF formulations, optimized protocols utilizing horizontal centrifugation, and the longer lasting form of PRF termed extended-PRF through the BioHeat process. He has written 10 textbooks including his best-sellers titled: “Next Generation Biomaterials for Bone and Periodontal Regeneration”, “Understanding Platelet Rich Fibrin” and "Modern Implant Dentistry". He remains the only author in the world to have 3 separate textbooks finish #1 most sold in the world in any given year. Dr. Miron has been awarded many international prizes in dentistry including the ITI Andre Schroeder Prize, the IADR Young Investigator of the Year in the field of Implant Dentistry as well as the IADR Socransky Research award in the field of Periodontology.
